This little guy was right in the center of my trail. Good thing I didn't step on it! I've never actually seen a snail eating before. This little guy was munching away. It shrunk into it's shell when my camera lens cast a shadow over his little eyes. He popped right back out as soon as I backed off a bit. That plant must be really good.
