Here's a bit of an experiment. I placed the canon 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS on a table and positioned my macro lens so that the glass box was pictured through the lens. The two lenses were about a foot apart and the glass box was about 2 feet beyond the second lens. It came out sort of cool. It gave me some other ideas of cool things to try. The lighting was the hard part. Getting the front of the lens illuminated while not over exposing the box was quite tough.
