Another shot from my trip to surprise lake. This was taken early in the morning before the sun had dipped into the lake basin. We had to traverse this boulder field the day before to get to our campsite. In retrospect it was a very dangerous situation as the boulders are quite unstable in spots and were moving under our steps. I had visions of being trapped by a fallen rock and having to chew off my leg to save myself!
