Ropes & Nets

After I left the Hiram S. Chittenden Locks, I walked along the South shore of the waterway back toward the city leading toward Fisherman's Terminal. This is the spot where many local fisherman take there boats out to the sound for fishing. You can buy shellfish and whole fish right from the guys that catch them. It's pretty cool to get seafood that fresh without having to freeze trying to catch them yourself.

Among all of the many things discarded at this location, this pile of cast off ropes and nets were nicely lit and just begging to be snapped. I took several shots and all looked fin but for some reason this one stood out as being a little better than the others.
