Through the Lens
Here's a bit of an experiment. I placed the canon 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS on a table and positioned my macro lens so that the glass box was pictured through the lens. The two lenses were about a foot apart and the glass box was about 2 feet beyond the second lens. It came out sort of cool. It gave me some other ideas of cool things to try. The lighting was the hard part. Getting the front of the lens illuminated while not over exposing the box was quite tough.

Buttercup
Here's another flower from my macro shoot at the Washington Park Arboretum. I learned that you really do need a tripod to get really great macro shots. guess I'll have to lug it with me next time.

Original Clock
Here's the original from the post that was "shopped" a couple of days ago. Unfortunately I didn't notice the reflection in the clock face until after I was done shooting. It's a blue ceramic bowl that Suzanne custom made for me... maybe I'll shoot that next.

Selenium Clock
I picked this clock up a few years ago. It usually sits on my mantle, but today it went to my studio (aka my dining room table) for a photoshoot. I gave it a nice selenium treatment.

Selenium Thistle
Here's an old dead thistle I picked from beside the freeway least year. There's something about these that's really cool. The pattern is soft yet prickly.

Shutter = 5 seconds
Aperture = f/11
Focal Length = 100mm
